The MADAR-III Data Probe includes an ALARM OUTPUT (the green connector on the top). This is a N/O (Normally Open) relay contact and can be connected to anything you can imagine - from a simple alarm to an IoT device - giving you many additional options for alerts, trigger a camera, etc. You can also plug in a USB speaker (SEE BELOW FOR SUPPORTED MODEL). We will place this alarm unit on the site soon. As always - NEARLY INSTANT Optional Text Message Alerts and Email Alerts are included FREE OF CHARGE.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
- Always-On Internet Connection (please see our note on DATA USE below)
- One free ethernet port on your router or switch (Need more ports? Click HERE!)

The MADAR-III Data Probe comes preconfigured and is 100% PLUG AND PLAY.

DATA USAGE - The MADAR Data Probe normally uses less than 100MB per month NOT including software updates. Please contact us for details or if you have a metered internet connection.

SECURITY - The MADAR Data Probe is NOT accessible from the internet and will not compromise the security of your internal network. If you have any questions or concerns please contact us for details.

AUDIO ALERTS - If you’d like your MADAR to sound an audible alert when an anomaly is detected, this speaker is supported and will automatically play a sound when attached. Please note that this is the only speaker we currently support:
